Buck knives has been a must have for hunting for as long as I can remember. Back in my earlier years of deer hunting, it was common to see hunters standing around campfires early in the morning before daylight with sheaths on their belts usually containing a Buck knife. My knife of choice was the Buck 112 Ranger, a folding hunter that was sharp, sturdy, and could be counted on when needed. I have had that same knife now for about 45 years, and have used it for everything from cutting rope to skinning deer. This is my long term test review as well as my impressions on this knife.
